Sonia Reid

Biography

Graduated from mechanical engineering at Laval University, Sonia Reid worked in various strategic positions until the accidental death of her husband in January 2003. Her experience mourning led her to a deep reflection about life, personal and professional future. During this period, she completed her Master’s degree in Project Management and worked as a Change Management Consultant in the public and private sectors. In the summer of 2010, Sonia discovers the pleasure of painting. In 2012, she publishes an autobiography called “Et la vie continue… (Life goes on…)” which quickly became a bestseller. While continuing her artistic work, Sonia also collaborates on the development of an innovative global health center, The Augustinian Monastery. The approach of this new center is built on the cultural heritage of the Augustinians in order to provide a contemporary “Adventure in yourself” that focuses on two themes: health and culture. Leading the global health workshop development programs of the institution since it’s beginning. She has always aimed at developing a visionary offering that meets the needs of individuals and society. Currently Organizational Development Consultant, she contributes to various social missions, while continuing her artistic work and the Art of sharing.
